I found another picture from Halloween past. Did you know Molar Man had such great legs? But, what's up with the helmet? I think you are giving the wrong impression. Check out B4's smirk!Wednesday, October 31, 2007

bubbles

During her bath this morning she would stick her face down in the bubbles (I don't know if she was really trying to lick the water) and then sit up to display a bubble beard. She knew she was being funny. I got a hand mirror so she could see how she looked and she must have been impress with herself because she gave the mirror lots of kisses.Monday, October 29, 2007

pickles
I have been trying to teach our baby to be an adventurous eater and it looks like our efforts are paying off. These pictures really are in sequence.

story time
Some things are better left unwritten and untold, this could be one of them, but I'm going to write it anyway. I stepped in poop today. It didn't register what happened until I stepped down again and felt is squish between my toes.
I picked her up out of her crib and knew from her smell, she needed to be changed. As I was walking out of her room, it happened. I checked the back of her fearing the worst and saw NOTHING. There were no signs of a horrible mess. I hobbled into the bathroom and after a challenging struggle to get her to lay still, I popped open her outfit to see...someone had neglected to secure her diaper on one side (me). Luckily, there wasn't too much of a mess and I was able to toss her in the tub. What I stepped on must have rolled down her leg and out the bottom of her pants. What are the chances of that!

playing with grandma and grandpa

We are so lucky to live in the same town with both sets of Grandparents. Here she is playing with my husbands mom and dad. She always has so much fun with them. She loves to dance with Grandpa and Grandma plays the best game of hide-n-seek around. There is nothing better for our family than living close to family, especially when they are incredible.Wednesday, October 17, 2007
driving miss daisy

2 moms
2 cameras
3 kids
1 rainy day
lots of entertainment
There were so many great pictures, I wanted to post them all, but these won because they had so much personality. Two of them were taken by my sister-in-law.
Those two had so much fun playing. Once He got used to Her standing next to him, they had a blast standing on the chair and rocking it. The look on their faces in the first picture is priceless. Is it a shadow of things to come? He'll be a crazy driver, and She'll be holding on for dear life. I am looking forward to seeing how their relationship develops through the years (cousins.) I love living next to family!

confessions

We went to the park during sunset so I could play with my camera. I took this picture and then looked in my viewer to see this. At first I thought "oh, crap that's not going to work" and then quickly realized how neat it looked. So, I took several pictures and they all turned out great. I wish all my mistakes could turn out this nice.

scrapbooking
I scraplifted this page from one by Jessica Sprauge. Everything I've seen done by her I really like. I got most of my embellishments from Katie at Designerdigitals.com and Rhonna at twopeas. They are both incredible designers.
At first I loved the page but couldn't decide on what to journal. Everything I wrote seemed cheesy or just too personal. I remembered a song my mom used to sing to me and decided to use a verse from it. Now it's my favorite part of the entire page.

11 months old

4 teeth, 17 lbs, lots of fun and 11 months old. One way I can keep her busy while I'm getting ready is to brush my powder brush across her face. She always gets the silliest smile. Notice her shirt, it's new! I went on a shopping spree for her. She has clothes, but a lot of them are light pink and they get grimy and yucky pretty quick. She's also been wearing some of her outfits for 6 months now. Oxy clean does wonders, but they are never quite the same. She also had a lot of cute peices that had nothing to go with them. So, I used that excuse and went wild. But, here's the downside. I have 3 weeks to get off my baby weight. I have once again sworn of sugar. I did fantastic for almost the whole month of September and then gave into temptation. This time, if I choose to eat sugar, I have to return a peice of clothing. Now that's a motivator.

slip slid'n away
As much as I love to capture the moment, this picture doesn't do her justice.
My parents have LOTS of stairs in their house. Her dad taught her how to turn around so she could go down the stairs properly instead of tumbling down head first. It's so cute to watch her maneuver around and position herself just right. Here, she turned around about 3 feet away from the stair and them pushed herself backwards until she slip slided to the edge of the stair. If you ever lose her in my parent's house, check downstairs, she heads down there whenever she gets a free moment.

favorite pastime
I love the way her eyes light up when she plays with her dad. Riding on his back is one of her favoites. She squeels with delight as soon as he gets down on his hands and knees. She is so full of funny "isms" lately. Yesterday, she pretended like she was a smoker all day. She would rotate between her fake cough and then some strange enphasima noise.

kitchen helper
She loves to help! As soon as she see the dishwasher's open, she crawls to it. If it weren't for the knifes and forks, it might be a great way to keep her occupied.

never too old

This weekend my mom surprised my dad with this! The look on his face was just like a little boy on Christmas morning, but better. He walked into his house to see it in his living room, two front wheels up on some steps. We spent all Saturday morning outside watching him give rides to his kids, grandkids, and neighbors. My parents and their neighbors have lots of forest in their backyards so it a wonderful place to play around. I hope my aunt and cousins enjoy the bottom picture. Who knew those steps could be so fun!
