too long

It's been too long.
I'm still doing my big project and hope it will be finished soon.
I've been through 8 boxes of Kleenex in the last week. (I wish I were exaggerating)
My babe and I have been in the hot tub 3 times this past week.
I've been shopping everyday, spending someone elses money.
I've been to the paint store everyday this week.
I've gone to bed before 9:00 two nights this week.
I've been eating horrible.
I've laughed everyday this week at something funny my babe has said.
I dream about tile, paint, and fabric swatches.
I'm addicted to Claritin.
I'm a horrible decision maker
I need Taneil come and organize for me.
It rained today.

oh Christmas tree

We spent hours tromping through the forest looking for the perfect Christmas tree. After searching through the snow and ice we finally laid our eyes on this beauty, but then it took 6 men with chain saws to chop it down.

Actually, by the middle of December we still hadn't gotten a tree. My dad suggested we grab my Grandma's tree. I went in the basement, unhooked it from the nail it was hanging on, threw it in the back of my car. After a 20 second drive, I took it out, took off the plastic cover and plugged it in. I wanted a little more color so I took off some of the red balls and added some of my own. It's not the greatest tree we've ever had, but it certainly was the easiest. My husband suggested we use it every year. NO WAY! But, for this year, it was great!

I love her kisses. She grabs our face when she's giving us great big kisses!

life

For some crazy reason life just isn't slowing down like I thought it would after Christmas. Probably because I've taken on a wonderful and HUGE secret project. In a couple of weeks I will post more about it. For now, I am adjusting to not having my mom around, trying to copy all my CD's to my computer (my January project) and doing lots of shopping and making lots of fun decision. On Sunday, our babe FINALLY went to nursery. She's been very good about avoiding it for the past couple of months. Before that, we were taking turns being in there with her. This Sunday she had to go. When I went to to pick her up, she was too busy to notice I'd even walked in. Then, she didn't want to leave! Yeahhhhh! I am thrilled! They said she cried a tiny bit when her dad dropped her off, but after that, she had a great time.

unexpected surprise

A very generous little old lady dropped a package off at work for our little girl. She has done it before. Last time we got a beautiful little dress. This time, she gave us a dress and coat. Perfect for our dress lover. As soon as it was open, she wanted to take off her clothes and put on the dress and coat.

It's amazing to me that she can be so adorable one moment and then so....... cheesy the next moment. Only a face a mother can love!
