paint

I love these things! In my opinion they are a little expensive, but they are so much better than wasting a quart of ugly paint color. Our garage is painted with a mixture of quart size colors. I have a gallon of ugly yellow sitting on my garage shelf that I've been trying to get ride of for four years. Any takers? This weekend I'm going to buy lots of DEVINE color samples. Fun, fun, fun.

Obviously I'm looking for some fantastic paint colors. Does anyone have any tried and true color suggestions?

birthday party

We went to her cousin's house for his birthday party. Sunshine, cupcakes, water balloons, trampoline, and cousins to play with all make a great afternoon.

father's day

Since both of our families have 4 boys and 1 girl, I am surrounded by amazing men. I think that says a lot about our fathers. Both of our dad's are one of a kind. They are hard workers, honest, and dedicated to being their best. My husband is an extraordinary father. One of the reasons I finally drummed up enough courage to get pregnant was because I knew my husband would be an incredible father. My little girl is so lucky to have such wonderful men in her life.

happy birthday

Somebody has a birthday! Can you guess who? I thought this would be a perfect day to pay tribute to a sister-in-law I adore and just another chance to display this stunning picture. This woman is extremely thoughtful, generous, spiritual and can do ANYTHING. She's also crazy, perfectly immature at times, and hilarious. I realized I forgot to mention my brother, her husband's, birthday a few weeks ago, so happy b-day to you (like you care that I forgot). My brother, who is amazing himself, couldn't have found a better wife (well, maybe Brandy, but she's probably married by now.)

cinderella III

I bought the cutest rake and shovel set from Joann's Craft store. It's a great way to keep her occupied while we work outside.

sick baby

We've had a sick little girl this past week. Hearing her cough and try to breathe breaks my heart. On the morning this picture was taken she insisted she eat her oatmeal all by herself, her hair hadn't been combed, her eyes were sad, and the recent bump on her head was still growing. She was too cute to resist.

bongo

Name: Bongo
Breed: part bear part great dane
weight: 180 lbs
My husband isn't too fond of dogs, but he thinks this one is incredible. He was even willing to let it lick his face. Our babe didn't share his opinion. We tried to get her to ride it, but she wasn't interested. I guess we'll have to buy her a pony instead of a dog. Summer, we bought this shirt because of you!

fair

We had so much fun at the fair last weekend. She loved the animals, until they got too close or made too much noise. Check out the looks on her face. After looking at all the animals we decided to give the pony ride a try. We weren't sure how she'd do on the pony, but she was terrific. She loved every second of it. She made the funniest faces during her ride. Most of the time she was chewing with her mouth really wide. We think she was copying the ponies, but who really knows.

all I could think of is "where is the hand sanitizer?"

Look at her technique. I don't know why more people don't ride leaned over like this.
After all the excitement, she deserved a treat. Chocolate covered banana. She devoured it. Most of the chocolate ended up in her dad's hair or on the ground, but she didn't care, she loved it.

love this

I love it when she does this. It doesn't happen very often because she's always on the go. But sometimes I spy her lying on her back, just taking a break. Look at that belly.

memorial day

This is one of my favorite things about living where we live. On appropriate holidays, volunteers put out American Flags. Most of the flags have dedications on the poles. It's breathtaking. As you drive the main road in Chatsville, (and a couple of side streets) it's lined with hundreds of flags. I was hoping to get some fantastic pictures of this beautiful sight being enjoyed by my little girl, but she didn't see the beauty of it. All she saw was the park!

popcorn

Almost every Sunday night my dad makes popcorn for dinner. She loves popcorn. She loves to sing "Popcorn Popping" and knows the actions. She askes to eat popcorn for breakfast. She wants popcorn when she wakes up in the middle of the night. She likes microwave popcorn, air popped popcorn, I bet she'd even like popcorn flavored Jelly Bellys, yuck!
