2 Months Old
Time is moving quicker. I remember when one day seemed to drag on forever, now my days seem to blur they go by so fast. My little baby changed from an infant to a chubby thighed baby right in front of my eyes. Sometimes I go in to check on her and wonder how she got so big. Oh! I know, she eats! and eats! and eats! Well, some days, especially when I have something I really want to get done. But, I feel so blessed to have another wonderful little girl. She has fussy days, those are the days she's not getting held enough and she has sleepy days when she's not intersted in eating much, just sleeping. She ALWAYS sleeps on Sundays. It really is the day of rest!
*Gumdrop loves to be held and she does get held a lot.
*She has the hicups at least 3 times a day.
*She sneezes several times every day.
*She's not on a routine, but it's getting there. Usually we put her to bed around 11:30 pm (after she's been eating non-stop for an hour and a half) and she wakes up some time around 6:00 am. After I feed her, sometimes she goes right back to sleep and other times she's more interested in smiling and talking to me. How can I put her down while she's doing that?
*She is so much bigger than Sweet Pea was at this age.
*She smiles and coos. It's wonderful.
*She loves to fall asleep with her head on a shoulder. Holding a cuddling sleeping baby is so soothing.
*She barely wets her diaper while she's sleeping at night. Her sister did that too.
*She's not too fond of her car seat.
*She always falls asleep when she's riding in the stroller.
*She had a nasty case of baby acne, but it's finally going away. Now she has super dry skin.
*She is working on standing on her dad's hands.
*She is ours!
