' Tis the Season for Sound of Music! I've read on a few other blogs that other kids are mesmorized by Maria. This cute girl will sit on the couch for over an hour and listen to the sound track. Sometimes over and over again. She loves "so long, farewell..." and will play it several times over. The other day asked me what "manyathink" was. We sat down together and listened to the song to figure out what it was. Turns out it was "many a thing (you know you ought to tell her)." I felt so smart.

My friend let me borrow this food grinder. I love it! We've been grinding up taco soup, spaghetti squash, fruit, and a lot of other yummy things, expect the doll. We haven't tried her yet.

While we practice my dad has the job of watching the kids. Frankly, this little one is the only kid that needs to be watched and she usually screams the entire time. Sometimes there are a few short minutes of reprieve and then back to screaming. This baby has a true and rare gift for screaming. Last week he found a way to get her calm. He pulled her around the gym in the wagon and she sat without moving for a long long long time. Her hands even stayed in the same position. For one of the world's most wiggly babies, that is amazing.
