Gumdrop actually lets me do her hair. I never even considered doing Sweetpea's hair when she was this age. I didn't think it was possible. But, it is...and it's so fun. Gumdrop is pretty good about just standing there and being patient. To clarify. She lets me put pony tails in her hair but she will NOT keep a bow, a flower or a clip in her hair.

worms

For a girl that freaks out when bugs are concerned, Gumdrop had a wonderful time playing with worms, "rolly rollys," and this morning she even pet a beetle. We've been gathering up all the worms in our driveway and put them in our garden containers. She usually goes out wearing very little. This morning we found some HUGE worms. In the past Sweetpea helped a little but mostly just played with her umbrella and pointed out worms for us to collect.

She is so independent and capable. While I was putting Gumdrop down for a nap, Sweetpea decided she was hungry and wanted a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. I love it. Hopefully, I won't have to make any food pretty soon.
